Quick Update: Purchasing the Melissa’s Hope Building is underway. The MHF and the owner of the building met in Haiti this month and came to an agreement on the price to purchase the building. Attorneys on both sides have set the terms and a notary in Haiti is now processing payment and the title to the land. Its a slow process in Haiti, but the gears are in motion. Melissa’s Hope is on the way to having a PERMANENT location in Port Au Prince. Exciting news indeed! More updates coming.
