HAPPY FALL!
Hope everyone is enjoying the weather and changing of the leaves. We are pleased to say that everyone at the orphanage is in good health. The school year at Melissa’s Hope is in full swing, and is keeping everyone busy!
HIP HIP HURRAY!!!!
Melissa’s Hope has gotten its Tax ID # 27-3731265 back as a 501c(3) non-profit organization. We are so EXCITED about this news!! Donations are now tax deductible. The long process is finally complete and we want to take this time to thank all of you for sticking by us with prayers, thoughts, and financial support through this situation.
CURRENT ISSUE
Melissa’s Hope has still been working to purchase the land and become the owners of the property by the end of 2014. We have been working to raise money and with all of your help we have raised $26,000!! HUGE THANKS TO EVERYONE!! We still have $24,000 to raise to reach the $50,000 needed. Now that we have our Tax ID # we are hoping for more donations to reach our goal.
Along with donations, thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated! Come visit melissashope.org and catch up with us. We’d love to hear your stories and thoughts, and now you can post them on the website. Also, making a donation to Melissa’s Hope is EASY and EVERY dollar will go directly to Pascal, Charlette, and the children living at the orphanage.
